My name is Joe Guardino. I did not embark upon my own fitness journey until I was in my fifties.
I retired early after years in the luxury retail sector. Anxious to get back into the workplace, I gave thought to a number of careers. The idea of becoming a personal trainer occurred to me upon noticing the rapidly increasing number of obese and poorly conditioned seniors. I knew this was not an inevitable consequence of aging and set out to learn at a professional level and then teach by example.
Incorporating professional level personal training with the vast health and wellness background of my wife Lynn (a corporate health nurse) has made for a very effective program.
